Michael manages the US office of the Trust in Santa Barbara. He brings a wealth or entrepreneurial experience to the Heide Probstel Trust, successfully starting several ventures in his career. The latest one, TriPlus Technologies, LLC recently gained major market acceptance for its virtual desktop solution, being deployed at large Fortune 100 clients such as Goldman Sachs, Fidelity Investments, Bell Canada and Boeing as well as at the US Social Security Administration. He previously gained finance administrative experience with the Bayerische Vereinsbank, Munich, Germany as well as PaineWebber, Santa Barbara, USA .

Michael currently consults several Software and Multi-Media startups both in the US and overseas as well as serves on the Board of AMBER Telecom Inc..

Michael received his Bachelor in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Regensburg, Germany.

Dirk S. Probstel
Trustee

Dirk has been trustee of the Heide Probstel trust since 2/1994 . Dirk manages the European side of the trust, successfully levering his extensive European business development contacts to assist portfolio companies in launching their services in Europe and vice versa. He specializes in cross-border financing and is actively involved in the emerging venture capital industry in Europe and also in the US.

Previous to his engagement as trustee Dirk studied at the Technical University of Berlin for a masters in Industrial engineering as well as a bachelors degree in physics from the University of California in Santa Barbara.
